Xubi comes back from vacation and we feature Chris Mechels speaking about the recent meeting of the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy. Among the topics discussed were the Academy curriculum which is in great turmoil, and criticisms of recent changes to the training in use of deadly force. The Las Cruces Police Department meanwhile is exemplary in that it exceeds state standards for their training in the use of non-deadly force.
