Kay has a recent book, Culture Clash, Environmental politics in New Mexico Forest Communities. a Memoir, 1970-2000. Kay is the editor/publisher of La Jicarita News, an online magazine of environmental politics in New Mexico.
Courtney White's new book is; Two Percent Solutions for the Planet; 50 low-cost, low-tech, nature based practices for Combatting Hunger, Drought, and Climate Change. His book is available from Chelsea Green Publishing, and at local bookstores.
Kay and Courtney will discuss their work pioneering a new focus on communities, ranchers, farmers, and loggers, and their historical contribution to preservation and restoration of New Mexico land and water. |
